J.E Thank you for the update

Sorry for the delay. I’ve been up at Mt. Vernon at MU’s rehab center every evening. Justen went through a review on Monday and we should know next week about the duration of stay. The nurses are very pleased with his progress. He passed the swallow test yesterday so is now able to drink liquids without thickeners which made him very happy. We had a MelloYello binge last night. I still see a bit of confusion where Justen will start a conversation and in the middle take a left turn somewhere else however, the DR’s say that’s pretty much normal at this state. Justen’s starting to write again with some difficulty but improving greatly. I hope it will only be a couple three additional weeks before we can get him home.

Justen is in Mt. Vernon at the University of Missouri’s Rehab Center. He started rehab on Friday and is doing much better. They will have an evaluation tomorrow to determine the length of rehab. Hope to see you Saturday.
